No [[Aspects|Aspect]] has ever shown as much interest for [[Humankind]] as dit the Golden Herald throughout the Ages. The being also known as the Guide of Humankind has been the first to adopt the creation of the [[Eternal Thought]] after its leave. The Golden Herald shared his enthusiasm and knowledge with a group of Humans, revealing them his true name, Perastan. During thousands days and nights, he walked Erathia with his people, he showed them the unpredictable seas, and taught them how to sail in the grey depths. It is during this great sailing that he made his final gift to Humankind, he imbued them with the gift of [[Expression]], sharing a part of his divine essence with the [[Aeri]]. Not much is known of his whereabouts during the [[First Twilight of the Aspects]], only that he might have been one of the last Aspects to leave Erathia. Some Aeri bloodlines claim to have recorded the entirety of the conversations with the Golden Herald in the [[Golden Sails]] woven from their golden hair. Each one of the boats sailing with Perastan had the responsibility to carry a piece of this knowledge. When the [[Scorched Guard]] invaded Erathia and brought war to the planet, the Golden Herald arrived third, after the [[King of Kings]] and the [[Great Devourer]], and levied his own army of proud warriors amongst the Aeri loyalists. He waged war to the Scorched for years, bringing down some of their fiercest warriors. In that part of the [[Scorched Conquest|Conquest]], the Aspects held back their powers, fearing what unleashing them would leave left for Humankind to live in. The tides of war changed when one of the Scorched brought the [[Patient Hand]] down. Perastan and her had been cut from the same divine cloth, and while he hated her commitment to tradition, he still loved her for she was his sister. He wept her, and while his tears drowned [[Herrenfal]], he fought ferociously, become a Herald of Death and Blood. His entire existence had been dedicated to change, yet nothing had prepared him for loss.
