Founded in 334 RB, the Aspectdom of Okkena is the longest lasting modern nation of [[Erathia]]. It was formed in the aftermath of the [[Aspectdom of Than]]'s dissolution following the [[Scorched Conquest]] and the [[Blaze]] and has lasted for over a millennium now. While its current borders are comprised of the eastern portion of the [[Alorgia]], all the way to the [[Sea of the Sisters]] to the east, it used to have an effective control over the territory of modern [[White Empire of Oshar|Oshar]] and [[Protectorate of Ferisbarkat|Ferisbarkat]]. This hold over the western territories was lost during the [[Second Sisterly War]], opposing the Aspectdom to its [[Imperial Republic of Ovgena|eastern rival]], giving the local population the necessary leeway to rebel and claim their independence. The Aspectdom is home to the [[House of the Outspoken]], the seat of power of the [[Thanirist Tone]] and the closest ally to the Okkenian crown there is. It has not always been like this. The balance of power between the House and the Crown has shifted over the centuries, oscillating between faithful queens under the influence of Mascheras of the Tone, such as [[Otekkia II]], and unorthodox Keepers of the Crown erring away from the guidance of the House, like the reign of [[Akthea the Unfaithful]]. Its capital city is [[Nerokh]]. ![[ERATHIA-BASEMAP-WESTERN-OVGENA-HIGHLIGHT-ORTHOGRAPHIC.png|no-float]] # GEOGRAPHY ## Territories and Features ### Territories At the end of the 16th century of the [[Reign of Blood]], the Aspectdom of Okkena is the second largest known nation on Erathia, covering an area of around 4,850,000 km² according to our cartographer's survey. The country is mostly defined by the network of rivers dividing it, making river travel an important part of its infrastructure. The fact that it's mostly covered by tropical rainforest also strongly limits the mobility of its inhabitants to travel the country outside of the rivers. ### Geographical Features ## Climate ## Ecology # POLITICS Western Okkena is facing a secession away from the central power, and it shows through the schemes of the locals Electors who are operating more and more independently from the Crown. There is a political failure from the Crown ever since the loss of territory in the Ferisbarkath expansion following the Third Sisterly War. [[Moekrann|Elector Moekrann]] from [[Horazul]] is gathering support in his skirmishes against the Fersibarkath, and could be keeping it following a victory.
